Colin has a BA (Hons) from Loughborough University and is an award winning actor, voice-over artist, director and theatre producer. He has appeared in almost 100 films, TV, video games and cartoon series including: Chuggington, Mike the Knight and the Little Princess. as an actor he is probably best known for his role as Commissioner Leob in Batman Begins and the Dark Knight, and also as the voice of ITV's The Cube. Colin has a special love of the theatre, where he has performed numerous roles and worked alongside some of the most celebrated actors of his generation including: Tom Hardy, Michael Sheen, Clive Owen and Gerard Butler. He has worked with an impressive list of theatre directors such as Nicholas Hytner, Declan Donnellan, Ken Campbell, Steven Berkoff and Sir Peter Hall.
Colin won the Time Out Award for Best Actor with Leo Wringer in 1994 for Two Horseman. Other theatre work has included: Othello (Chester Gateway and Ludlow Festival); Romeo and Juliet and Outbreak of God in Area 9 (Young Vic}; both the Lincoln and Chester series of Mystery Plays, and Black Poppies (National Theatre Studio/Tour); A Midsummer Night's Dream (Derby Playhouse); The Duchess of Malfi (Contact, Manchester); Relapse and Macbeth (Birmingham Rep.); Things of Dry Hours (Royal Exchange and The Gate); Steven Berkoff's Coriolanus (West Yorkshire Playhouse / Mermaid theatre / International Tour; and Coriolanus at the Young Vic.
Colin's extensive and varied television work includes : Jeeves and Wooster; The Thin Blue Line; Jonathan Creek; Judge John Deed; Coronation Street; Eastenders; Holby City: Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps; Hounded ;MI (CBBC); The American Embassy (US); Randall and Hopkirk Deceased; Parents of the Band; Collision; The Fast Show; Lenny Henry; in Dreams; Black Books; Reggie Perrin: Torchwood; The One Lenny Henry; Bad Education; Dirk Gently; Ruddy Hell!
